A new NFT initiative called “Outcast Angels: Adventures in a Darke World” is set to debut on Friday 28 October. It is part of an interconnected fantasy fiction world and will grant readers exclusive access to stories and online games that will influence the series’ upcoming novels. A five-year initiative, supported by AI-generated, curated art based on the text from the books, will span seven fantasy fiction novels, five video games, and a continuing stream of NFT releases. This NFT project is the first of those releases.

Interested parties can learn more about the release at https://outcastangels.art and see the NFTs themselves at https://opensea.io/collection/outcast-angels

NFT holders will get exclusive access to the virtual world game The Darke World, and their choices made there will have an impact on how the third book in the Outcast Angels series turns out. Over the period, four additional games that complement the series will be released. Over five years, new NFT collections based on ideas from the most recent books and games will be regularly produced.

The 3500 NFTs in the First Outcast Angels NFT Collection are all unique creations using the MidJourney AI. The initial release of 750 NFTs will occur on 28 October 2022. The goal of these NFT releases is to support the series author so he can finish writing and publishing these books, which have been his lifelong passion. They also aim to support the creation of future NFTs and several companion games that will captivate NFT holders and bring the world of the Outcast Angels saga to vibrant life.

On the Ethereum network, OpenSea will offer the first Outcast Angels Collection NFTs for sale at https://opensea.io/collection/outcast-angels. Throughout the five-year initiative, interest in the Outcast Angels offering is expected to rise with each new NFT drop, game, and book release.

The premise of the Outcast Angels series is that some of the angels who rebelled against God and were expelled as a result of their rebellion chose not to fight alongside Lucifer and his Darke Warriors in their war against Heaven. Instead, these Outcast Angels have been engaged in battle with Lucifer and his evil minions for thousands of years, sparing humanity from several catastrophic disasters. The characters in a stage musical for which author Michael Carney penned the script were the inspiration for the original plot of the Outcast Angels series. Carney’s first short story was released followed by his first full novel, Academy of Secrets.

Author Michael Carney who is based in New Zealand owns and coordinates the Outcast Angels NFT project. Michael has also written or ghostwritten five non-fiction works. His professional experience includes marketing, playwriting, stage direction, and the early adoption of new technology. Michael has had a keen interest in the NFT sector for the past few years and was quick to see how text-to-image art could help him realize his concepts.

According to a spokesperson, “The Outcast Angels NFTs are the gateway to an exciting and unique world of fantasy fiction, providing exclusive access to stories and to games that will have an impact on the future books in the series. Each NFT entitles the owner to a free copy of the first Outcast Angels book, Academy of Secrets (with one of three NFT-exclusive cover designs), citizenship in a 100-square-mile enclave of the virtual world ‘The Darke World’ and a virtual loot bag for the game ‘The Darke World’ (that cannot be unlocked until the game begins), as well as two free NFTs from subsequent Outcast Angels Collections.”
