Arjun Tendulkar makes Mumbai senior team debut in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Budding left-arm pacer Arjun Tendulkar, who is the child of famous previous batsman Sachin Tendulkar, made his Mumbai senior group debut on Friday in an Elite E League bunch match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Haryana here.

The match is being played at the rural BKC ground and Mumbai, subsequent to winning the throw, are batting first. The 21-year-old Arjun currently meets all requirements for the IPL barters, as he has made his introduction for the Mumbai team.

Tendulkar junior was added to the Mumbai crew, alongside another pacer Krutik Hanagavadi, by the Salil Ankola-drove determination board, after the BCCI allowed a sum of 22 players to be chosen.
